In the Land of Harmony

Juliette Dawson and Aaron Thomas are two lover's from two different worlds.

Romantic Renaissance( the story inside the story)

Romantic Renaissance is a fictional book that is mentioned in my book, In the Land of Harmony.
It is about Juliette Dawson, the daughter of a rich lord in England. Her father keeps Juliette in the palace because he fears that she'll "get ideas." Daughters of lords at this time, were arranged to married to be married to either a king, a duke, or someone of power and authority. Juliette felt that since it was during the Renaissance or the rebirth of Europe, that this rule should be removed. She wanted to marry for love, not for power or money. But no matter how hard she tried, Juliette couldn't get her way.

One day, she discovered a woman who was very old and poor. She was a spirited painter but no one would ever buy her art because she painted a land called Harmony, that she claimed to be real. People thought that the woman was crazy, so she remained poor. Because she liked them, Juliette, bought the woman's paintings. Juliette wished that she could go to the land of Harmony because it looked better than her world. She wanted to escape from the arranged marriage to Prince Paulo.

One night her wishes came true. She woke up in a forest. It was bright and colorful, just like one of the woman's paintings. It was real.

All in all, Romantic Renaissance is about a girl Juliette Dawson who discovers Harmony and love. In the Land of Harmony Juliette meets Aaron Smith, a dragon slayer/king of thieves. They fall in love but is this love real? Every night Juliette goes to sleep in Harmony she wakes up in England. How will Juliette and Aaron ever be together? Embark on this magical journey that lies inside my book In the Land of Harmony.*

Breaking Tides

In the Land of Harmony will contain a series of books. Since this is a fantasy/adventure/romantic novel I think this story should be expanded. I want the story to entertain all audiences.

Here is the title of books in order:

In the Land of Harmony: Romantic Renaissance*

In the Land of Harmony: Breaking Tides

In the Land of Harmony: Morning Star

* I may change my first book's title and the title of the fictional book that lies inside my book.

I plan to create more than three books, maybe five, in this series. I can tell you that Breaking Tides is about mermaids, and Morning Star is about werewolves but that's all I'm telling you.

Mount Marius

This is what Mount Marius, the mountain where a dangerous dragon lives. In Romantic Renaissance, Juliette is in danger of being killed by this dragon until Aaron shows up. Aaron saves her from the dragon and shows her around, Syrel, a magical town in Harmony.

Mysterious Woman

The mysterious woman in Romantic Renaissance is not your average woman. She plays a key part in my book because she is sort of like a fairy godmother. She had a father exactly like Juliette's. She loved someone other than her arranged lover. She wants people to know that love has to exact in all aspects of your life.

(Above is one of her paintings entitled"Snow Mounds")

Aaron Smith

Aaron Smith is Juliette Dawson's handsome lover. He is mysterious and strong but today he would be known as a cute geek. He reads Shakespeare( now that he knows that there is another world out there other than Harmony) Juliette got him hooked to him after bringing her copy of Romeo and Juliet with her to Harmony. Aaron is also a talented dragon slayer. He grew up in Fearing Forest, which is where Mount Marius sits. It is the home to all dragons, so dragon slaying was the trade in his family. His family, like other families in Syrel were poor. So he acted like a Robin Hood, stealing things from the rich and handing them out to his family and friends.

Without a character like Aaron Smith, this book would be a romance novel without love.
